De villa is heel charmant, luxueus, ruim en nodigt uit tot gezelligheid. De architectuur is doordacht en heel verrassend. Het is er comfortabel, voorzien van alle nodige accommodatie. De ligging van de villa is subliem. Een oneindig zicht over de oceaan, een ver zicht over Walker Bay. De Villa is gelegen in het "Fynbos" dat toegankelijk is voor mooie wandelingen, dichtbij witte stranden. In Gansbaai geen tekort aan voorzieningen. Inkopen doen zoals de locale bevolking is een belevenis. Samen met de familie koesteren wij mooie herinneringen aan magische momenten in Villa The Cherry. Wij hopen in de toekomst een tweede verblijf in de villa te mogen boeken. Een aanrader voor wie houdt van comfort, gezelligheid, rust en natuur. Villa The Cherry, we love it, we cherish it. During the month november we enjoyed sunshine, waves, wales, friends, wine and food in villa The Cherry; This villa is the most wonderful place we ever rented. The house is beautiful, the surrounding is amazing and the people so very kind. Actually I wanted to keep this a secret because we sure go back to this lovely place!

Annick and Bjorn’s home is exquisite, from the beautiful white linen to the vast expansive views over the sea and the nature reserve from any room in the house, to the blue pool with the stunning decor and the immaculate cleanliness of the entire home . This home is unique and open plan, and hosts a family of 6 easily , with 3 large bedrooms that are all en-suite . There are also kayaks for sea kayaking and two mountain bikes for going on in the nature reserve . Annick is a wonderful hostess and their home is a true delight ! Can’t wait to return ! Worth every cent !

This will probably remain my favourite Villa rental in the country. A thoroughly spacious and modern unit, with the most outrageous views out over Walker Bay. It is tranquil, luxurious, restful and fun. The Villa has three on-suite king bedrooms, so is suitable for three couples, or 6 friends sharing. It’s architect-built gem, oozing with space and luxe charm. A central outdoor courtyard conceals a pool, with comfortable loungers. At the flick of a switch, both an internal and external wall slide away, further opening the Villa to her majestic surroundings. The lounge is a generous double-volume area, with a fireplace, and is glass fronted for views over the bay. Despite the crisp winter air, I happily slept with the sliding doors open in my third-story bedroom suite. There’s something to be said for the gentle calls of the ocean putting you to sleep at night, whilst the half-moon casts a mysterious iridescent shimmer over the water. The majority of my five days were spent moving between the veranda taking in the Bay, the vast bathtub views at sunset or in the fireplace in the evening. You can’t help but relax in the environs, and will most definitely leave lighter.

My family spent a glorious week at the wonderfull villa and had an absolutely perfect and relaxing vacation. The villa is comfortable and more than enough room for our party of four.
The property was very clean, fantastic and the facilities were very good.

We hebben een fantastische tijd in Villa the Cherry gehad.De zee, de wind, de fantastische lokatie alleen maar prachtig, we zijn met weemoed in ons hart naar huis gegaan. Complimenten voor het design van de Cherry.

Excellent! We will recommend this to anybody that would like to visit De Kelders. We will visit the villa again.

"For our birthdays we rented Villa The Cherry for a week, a dream villa on a cliff directly at the shore overlooking Walker Bay,whilst the gentle giants of the sea danced their Grand Pas de Deux for us.
There is everything available in the house one could possibly wish for, on top even welcome flowers, breakfast & drinks in the fridge, a binocular, even a telescope, pool, fireplace and more...
Villa The Cherry, especially during whale season, deserves a favourite position on any discerning traveller’s bucket list; we’ll certainly be back."
